| Position Description |
|
Supports instructors and students to provide a positive learning environment. Performs a variety of administrative duties for colleagues, supervisor and other managers as assigned. Exercises considerable administrative judgment. Maintains a high degree of confidentiality. Handles a high volume of work and is comfortable with an extremely unpredictable nature of workflow. May assist other groups outside of Training as required.
Specifically, the Training and Development Registrar will:
•Registers students for training classes. Maintains enrollment lists, open, closed and canceled class
schedules and locations. Arranges appropriate meeting spaces and audiovisual requirements required for successful learning experience.
•Handle requests for course descriptions and archived requests for student data. Process all transcript requests.
•Manage training inquiries and class request log.
•Construct complete academic class schedule and course catalog.
•Oversee the review of class rosters in advance to make sure that students are registered properly, including verification of clearances and prerequisites when required.
•Prepare class folders and instructor packets.
•Closes class enrollments including printing certificates, class evaluations, and maintaining attendance, test and exam records.
•Orders, revises, and/or assembles training materials and ships materials to offsite classrooms as
needed. Purchases technical and related equipment, supplies or services. Works with vendors and other outside service providers as required to ensure accurate and timely delivery of training materials and services.
•Compile and distribute weekly and monthly operational reports as required.
•Answers telephone, screens callers, relays messages, and greets visitors. Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with internal and external guests.
•Responsible for calendar management, arranging appointments and conference calls. Maintains vacation calendar and master calendar of events/meetings/etc. Plans and coordinates functions.
•Performs general administrative duties. Orders supplies and equipment. Handles photocopying, faxing. Drafts memos, forms, reports and general correspondence. Establishes, organizes and maintains an efficient file storage/retrieval system and performs other clerical duties as required.
•Process and maintain all training documentation and databases
•Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
•Comply with and ensure department compliance with company health, safety and environmental policies.
•Conducts special projects and performs other tasks as assigned
•Perform Receptionist coverage as needed.
•Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.
•Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.
•Other duties as required.

| Requirements |
|
Qualifications include:
•Associate's degree or equivalent training preferred.
•Two to three years experience; Training or Educational environment preferred.
•Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
•Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
Must be a US Citizen and eligible for a US DoD Security Clearance.
